Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use EazInvest (the website and the installable app). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them. Questions: eazinvesting@gmail.com.

1. Education only

EazInvest is for educational purposes only and is not financial advice. We don't recommend specific investments, execute trades, hold your money, or promise any return. Calculator results are estimates for learning. Think about your own situation, and talk to a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in details private and give accurate information. You're responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service. EazInvest is for students 14 and over; if you're under 14, you need a parent's or guardian's consent to use the free app.

3. Free plan

All core lessons, quizzes and the glossary are free. We may change free features over time.

4. Premium subscription

• Who can subscribe: buying Premium requires you to be 18 or older, or to have a parent's or guardian's permission.
• Price: $7.99 CAD per month, plus any applicable taxes shown at checkout.
• Auto-renewal: Premium renews automatically every month on the same date and your payment method is charged each month until you cancel.
• Price changes: we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before a price change takes effect. You can cancel before then.
• Failed payments: if a renewal fails we'll retry for a short period; Premium stays on during retries and ends if payment doesn't succeed.
• Payments are processed by Stripe and its Link service. We never see or store your full card number.

5. How to cancel

Go to Plans & billing and choose Manage or cancel, or email us. Once you cancel, nothing else is charged. Premium stays on until the end of the month you've already paid for, then your account goes back to the Free plan. You keep your lessons and progress.

6. Refunds

We don't give refunds or credits for partial months. Cancelling stops future charges, and you keep Premium until the end of the paid month. This doesn't limit any rights you have under consumer protection law, including Quebec's Consumer Protection Act. If you're charged in error, contact us and we'll fix it.

7. Acceptable use

Don't copy or resell our content, try to break or overload the service, or get around Premium access controls.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, EazInvest isn't responsible for investment decisions you make or for losses that come from them. The service is provided "as is", and we'll try to keep it available and accurate.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
